iPad is disabled

Have you tried to sign in one too many times on your iPad and get the error message "iPad is disabled"?

If you've tried logging into your iPad too many times with the wrong password, it will lock itself and display the message below (but without the "try again in x time") :

If you get the above error message, your iPad needs to be restored and for this you need a computer (mac or windows 8/10/11) with iTunes installed and a compatible usb-c cable to connect the iPad to the computer.
