Fortnox Troubleshooting

Here we post the most common Fortnox error messages and how to solve them

API call failed: 401 eller 500

Means we can't access your Fortnox through the integration. This means something has gone wrong on either Fortnox end or with our integration.

In these cases the integration needs to be reactivated. Contact us for an activation link.
Whoever reactivates also needs full access to all the tools our integration uses.

API call failed: 400. Konto XXXX saknas i kontoplanen

Means that account XXXX is not an active sales account in the customer's Fortnox.

Double check that the account is activated in your Fortnox or adjust the account through our website if it's been correctly set.

Voucher cannot be created for venue 'X'. Could not find config for 'Z’

This error could be for an unconfigured payment method, category, VAT, any number of not configured lines in the fortnox integration.

Double check that all your payment methods, categories, VAT and other used categories have been set correctly because atleast one sales account is missing for the integration
